Seaport Elite Boston Frequently Asked Questions

Before you cruise aboard the Seaport Elite, let us answer some important frequently asked questions for you!

Top Questions

Additional Information

Accessibility. Is Seaport Elite II wheelchair accessible?

Our crew is happy to aide passengers that need assistance. For individuals needing boarding assistance or wheelchair accessibility, please contact us at 888-534-3516 or your account manager to ensure that there is accessible seating available on your cruise date.

Coordinator. Will there be a coordinator on the day of our event?

Yes. Someone will be there to help direct your event.

Decorations. Can we bring our own?

Yes, but there are a few restrictions; no glitter, confetti or open flames are allowed. Votives and candles are allowed as long as the glass or container exceeds the height of the flame. You are more than welcome to bring your own flowers or purchase centerpieces through your event planner. All decorations must be removed immediately following the event. Any decorations left behind after the event will be discarded. While we are happy to help set up any simple decorations, excessive set up is subject to a fee.

Deliveries. What do we tell our vendors about delivery?

The delivery time must be coordinated between your Coordinator and the vendor directly to ensure safe and timely delivery as the boat is not always at the dock.

Deposit. Is our deposit refundable?

Seaport Elite is designed to provide our guests with a customized, luxury experience. As a result of our limited capacity and high demand, events aboard our vessels are non-refundable.

Dietary Restrictions. Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Please check our menu for our vegetarian options. While we offer gluten and allergy free products and gluten sensitive menu items, we openly handle several allergens throughout our galleys. While we take precautions to keep ingredients separate, we cannot guarantee a gluten free environment. We do not have separate prep surfaces, cook tops or equipment. Our chef prepare and cook in common areas with shared equipment, therefore the items may come in contact with other food products. If you have any other special dietary concerns, please contact your event planner or guest services at 888-534-3516.

Coast Guard Regulations. Is the vessel Coast Guard certified?

Yes. The Seaport Elite II is Coast Guard certified and maintained regularly to adhere to strict safety regulations.

Privacy. Is the ship private to just our party?

Yes. The Seaport Elite II is a private charter yacht and will only be used by your group.

Payment. What type of payment do you accept?

A 25% deposit is required at the time of the reservation. Payment in full is due 30 days prior to the event. We accept major credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Diner's Club. We also accept money orders and certified checks. Seasickness. Will I get seasick?

It is highly unlikely. The Seaport Elite sails in the calm waters of the inner harbor and outer islands. We do not go out into open ocean water.

Smoking. What is your smoking policy?

All interior areas of our ship are non-smoking areas. Passengers who smoke may do so on the outdoor observation decks.

Ship Bar. What are the operating hours for the bar on board?

Elite's bar is open throughout the cruise. All bars aboard our vessels close 30 minutes prior to docking.

Weather. Do you sail in inclement weather?

Absolutely. Our ships are fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. We sail rain or shine all year long.
